Treeline has worked with AMREF HQ in Nairobi for over 6 years, delivering websites for many of their regional offices and campaigns.
The current launch (April 2013) is built on the very latest version of Treeline CMS, with a completely overhauled interface and a whole raft of new and improved tools, putting site management within the grasp of even inexperienced site administrators.
The redesign focuses on engaging supporters and driving fundraising regardless of the viewing platform. A great deal of work has gone into choosing appropriate images, researching and implementing a keyword strategy and writing content that will connect with supporters.
We are working with AMREF to roll out the updated CMS and new design for other sites (there's no cost for unlimited microsites using Treeline) and feeding back in-depth, but plain-English, reports on site issues and missed opportunities on a monthly basis using our InSite Agency offshoot. That way we'll ensure AMREF continue to get good advice and the maximum return on investment.
The most recent campaign, Stand Up for African Mothers includes custom-designed pages within the website, a virtual petition and fully integrated social media activity on Twitter, and Facebook. The site is due to launch shortly (May 2013).
All sites include campaigning tools, a full store with donations functions, petitions, blogs, resource database, maps, video and other multimedia - as well as highly customisable pages which allow the website to be consistently interesting and effective.
